Favourites remain only in your browser through local storage. They are not sent to the server.

Suggestions

Public contact is made only through the suggestion form. We store the submitted data, the named source and an irreversible identifier derived from the IP address to limit spam. We do not store the IP address in plain text.

When subscriptions are active, we collect the email address, selected language, consent version and timestamp, subscription state, minimal technical records of welcome emails and weekly selections to prevent duplicates, and temporary pseudonymised identifiers to limit abuse. The subscription becomes active when you tick the consent option and submit the form.

The legal basis is consent. You can manage language or unsubscribe through links in the emails. We do not configure open pixels or click tracking.

If you unsubscribe, we retain the minimum needed to prevent further sends until you request erasure or the retention policy is reviewed. Data requests: festasporportugal@gmail.com.

Editorial authentication

The editorial area is restricted and uses Supabase Auth. The session is stored in a secure, HTTP-only and strictly necessary cookie.

Third parties

Infrastructure is provided by Vercel and Supabase. When newsletter emails are sent, they use Resend. Links to external sources follow those websites' policies.
