A historical re-enactment event in Santa Maria da Feira, dedicated in 2026 to the County of Portugal and the Medieval Journey's 30th anniversary.
Context
Viagem Medieval returns to the historic centre of Santa Maria da Feira from 29 July to 9 August, in an edition dedicated to Condado Portucalense and the event's 30th anniversary.
The 2026 edition revisits the period of D. Teresa and Afonso Henriques, on the eve of Portugal's formation.
What to expect
- Custódia Gallego and Tiago Aldeia portray D. Teresa and Afonso Henriques in the daily show “Discurso do Rei”.
- “Guardiões de Villa da Feira”, with around 80 children and young people, takes place daily at 20:00 in Praça do Canastro.
- The contemporary opening takes place on 28 July, with free admission.
Practical information
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 13:00–00:30; Saturday and Sunday, 12:00–00:30.
- Daily ticket: €6 from Sunday to Thursday; €8 on Friday and Saturday.
- Wristband: €10 in pre-sale until 15 July; €12 afterwards. Pulseira Real: €15 until 15 July.
- Free entry for children up to five years old.
