About this festival
A religious and equestrian pilgrimage linking Moita and Viana do Alentejo.
Context
The pilgrimage carries the image of Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem along rural paths to Viana do Alentejo. Its arrival includes a celebration and procession in honour of Nossa Senhora d'Aires.
The tradition resumed in 2001 after a break of more than 70 years.
